Typography
Speaking in basic terms, typography is the art of arranging type. There is however, a lot more to it than that. The use of typography within design determines the legibility of the text whilst also capturing the subject matter of a design. The decisions made regarding typeface and layout are integral to establish an effective cohesion between the various elements of a composition. When creating anything that features any form of type, typography has to be one of the key aspects to consider as it will have have a substantial impact on how successful the design will be.

Leading - refers to the space between two lines of type ( leading is very important in determining legibility especially in large bodies of text.
Kerning - refers to the spacing between two individual letters with a word
Tracking - refers to the spacing between all of the letters within a word at the same time.
