When aiming to promote yourself as a designer, it would not be a good idea to try and showcase every design you have ever created as the large selection of work would likely hide the designs you consider as best highlighting your creative ability. To attract and impress a potential client, the portfolio of work they see needs to show that you possess the skills to meet their needs, therefore it is important that when you arrange your work you select the pieces that best demonstrate these skills. You also need to consider the attention span of the viewer. If they are having to look through copious examples of your work, they would be likely to lose interest and pay less attention which could result in them not noticing your qualities as a creative. To overcome this, the body of work you put together needs to include pieces that communicate all of your skills and that show you can use these skills to produce effective designs.
