"I'm a UX/UI Designer and Front End Developer from Sydney, Australia. I enjoy turning complex problems into simple, beautiful and intuitive interface designs. When I'm not coding or pushing pixels, you'll find me in the gym or on the court shooting hoops."
The designers intent here is to inform potential clients about what skills he possess', what his capabilities are and a little about his personality. I think that the bio in general is quite effecetive due to the way it reads very easily. by breaking up his bio into sections that aren't crowded with type it help keeps the reader interested and holds the attention. What I really like about the bio is the way its written. The designer doesn't take it too seriously and allows his personality to come out. He still effectively advertises what skills he posses and also states his achievements showing a sense of professinalism, whilst also showing a more natural, comedic side which suggests he you would enjoy working with him. I also think that the graphics, graphs and charts used are effective and more interesting than a simple body of text. I think that when writing my own bio I can certainly use aspects of this example to help shape my outcome. I think that by writing in a way that emotes professionalism whilst also maintaining a relaxed feel is the best way to give any potential clients a sense of my character and personality along with my ability as a designer.
