Michael Bierut
A 'Clark' branded forklift with a logo designed so that the 'L' seems to be lifting the 'A'. The creativity involved in this logo was pointed out and explained to Bierut at a young age by his father, and this seemingly unimportant event in his life would inpsire him to become a highly successful figure within the design industry. Already possesing some artistic talent, Bierut realised that he could use his creative and artistic ability to provide a meaningful outcome that would serve a purpose, be that a forklift company whose logo alludes to what they produce or creating a logo for the MIT media lab that reflects the instution's history whilst relating to what they accomplish.
