I think that for the purpose of promoting myself as a graphic designer I will use San serif fonts on any promotional websites, logos etc. This is because I feel a san serif such as 'Futura' or 'Arial' exudes a sense or modernism and professionalism that would resonate well with potential clients. I could always pair a bolder, heavier font such as 'Impact' with a font like 'Helvetica' to provide some contrast within my designs. I do like the idea of pairing a san serif with a script style or even a lighter serif font possibly for a title or within the logo however to create a sense of unity throughout the promotional campaign I'll refrain from mixing too many fonts together and stick to mainly using san serifs.
